Fifteen minutes from the runway

Eastgate Airport (HDS) Direct flights from Johannesburg and Cape Town. The closest way in by far. 15 min

Hoedspruit town Shops, fuel and the vets. Everything you might have forgotten to pack. 5 min

Orpen Gate, Kruger The closest gate to us, and the one we send most guests to for a day in the park. 1 hr

Airport transfer We arrange transfers to and from Eastgate. Send us your flight numbers when you book. Pre-booked

The lodge sits inside the secure, gated Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate, which has controlled access around the clock. We send you an access code before you travel, and that is what you give at the gate. There is parking on site. The estate speed limit is 40 km/h on tar and 20 km/h on gravel — it is a wildlife estate, and the animals have right of way.
